Stadiums office buildings
This complex mixed-use office building project in Budapest’s 14th district aims to deliver a high-quality, timeless architectural solution aligned with the urban environment.
Location
The office building, with a total gross floor area of 44,655 m², is located in Budapest’s 14th district at the corner of Kerepesi Road and Hungária Boulevard. The building is planned on the site of the former BKK facility above the existing metro station.
The task of the invited design competition was to develop a building with retail spaces on the ground floor, organized along an internal pedestrian passage. The metro station is accessible both through this internal route and independently.
Architectural conception
The first floor accommodates parking, while the upper levels contain office spaces with an optional hotel function. The investors’ goal was to create a high-quality, architecturally refined office building. During the massing process, the clean, prismatic volumes were carefully arranged to mitigate the visual tension resulting from the building’s elongated form.
The final result is an elegant, timeless building that responds to the surrounding urban conditions and enhances both the architectural and urban quality of the area.
