DUGA quarter
s.r.o.
Prague
The concept aims to create a complex, sustainable, and community-oriented urban environment in the brownfield area of Belgrade Duga, based on the harmonious integration of built and natural elements.

Urban structure
The central element of the planned district is a clear, well-organized promenade, which is divided into smaller public spaces with unique character. The buildings are connected to these spaces, creating a well-structured, livable, and community-oriented urban fabric.

Green spaces and environmental integration
The railway area developed on the southern side is transformed into a public park, which is connected to the promenade both visually and functionally. The green spaces extend into the urban area, improving the microclimate and strengthening the connection with the natural environment.

Functions and institutional provision
The development includes a variety of functions, including office and residential buildings, as well as educational and healthcare institutions. Ground-floor commercial and service functions ensure active street life, while public institutions form a well-accessible network.

Architecture and transportation
The shaping of building masses, the use of green and water elements, and a pedestrian- and cyclist-friendly transportation system create a modern, flexible, and human-scale urban environment that is attractive and livable for all age groups.
