The BudaPart E Building is a restrained contemporary building whose proportions and material palette integrate seamlessly with the character of the district while subtly shaping its identity.

New Urban District, New Concept

The BudaPart E Building is located in the heart of the BudaPart district, next to the Kopaszi Dam. The design aimed to create a high-quality yet efficiently organized residential building that responds equally well to both development objectives and residents' needs.

Spatial Organization

The E Building consists of two L-shaped volumes that enclose a landscaped rooftop courtyard. This garden not only provides a visual focal point but also creates a functional connection to the park located to the south, reinforcing the use of shared community spaces. At ground level, retail units line the pedestrian promenade. The residential floors are organized around an enclosed central corridor system, and all 182 apartments feature a private balcony or loggia. Apartment sizes range from 30 to 100 m².

Architectural Expression

The building's defining façade feature is the alternating combination of white rendered surfaces and green ceramic tile cladding, creating a playful yet elegant architectural identity. At ground level, dark grey fibre cement cladding emphasizes the building's public and commercial functions. The apartments incorporate a strong focus on energy-efficient solutions and smart home technologies, including ceiling heating and cooling systems, automated shading, and digitally controlled building features.
